T’is the season of sending early!
An Post remind customers of the last dates of posting and encourage all to send their cards and parcels early to ensure they reach their destination in time for Christmas
Thursday 25th November, 2021: An Post has issued advice to customers nationwide to send early this festive season, as it’s their busiest time of the year – especially for posting abroad.
Millions of Christmas cards and parcels will go through the postal system and be sent to all corners of the country – and the world! Whether you’re sending to Achill Island or Sydney, Australia – the resounding advice is to send early to make sure Christmas cheer arrives on time.
An Post has turned the Christmas dial right up its new Christmas stamp collection for 2021 – a set of six different colourful illustrations that aim to add to extra sparkle to Christmas sending this year.
An Post have asked that everyone pay heed to the last dates for posting, as some destination’s last dates are rapidly approaching. 9th December is the latest date for posting parcels and letters by standard service to the USA, and 13th December for European destinations (18th for cards).
